RansomBackup uses Restic behind a least-privilege gateway. It is an additional copy built to survive a compromised PC, not a replacement for every other backup.

Store it offline. If it is lost, nobody — including us — can recover the data.

Your dashboard lists available backups; restoring requires temporary authorization.
Real least privilege.
The daily token can create backups and read required indexes, but cannot delete or download data packs. A temporary RESTORE token allows recovery only when needed.

How much does it cost?

Can RansomBackup read my files?
No. Restic encrypts content, names and metadata locally. We do not receive the private password.
Can I protect multiple folders?
Yes. Use “Manage folders” on Windows, or configure paths in the Linux client.
Why no server-side pruning?
Restic needs the private password to interpret indexes. The server does not have it, and FREE clients cannot delete data.
